Dataset IT Systems 'Interlock for Waste' incorporates a skip control module. This allows the user to enter orders for both account and casual customers. Orders may be entered on the waste contractors web site and automatically and securely added to the list of jobs on the office system. Jobs entered (whether on the web site or by office staff) may be paid for by credit/debit card at the time of processing, thus clearing the job for delivery.
Using postcodes, the system can show, with reasonable accuracy the location to which the skip/dumpster is to be delivered. Actual co-ordinates can be captured on delivery of the container.
The software can either use paper dockets for driver instructions or the jobs may be sent to a mobile device carried by the vehicle operator. Where the vehicle operator uses a mobile device, the system will automatically capture the co-ordinates of where the skip/dumpster was delivered.
Prices can vary on the basis of location and container size. Hire periods are agreed at point of order. Once the hire period has elapsed, the system will automatically prompt the system operator that the skip/dumpster is ready for collection. As with the deliveries, the collection or exchange can be printed on a paper docket or sent electronically to the mobile device.
Charges to be raised for account customers are automatically sent to the invoicing system where the invoices are calculated on the basis of container size, waste type and weight (all contracted rates for the customer in question).
We can travel in Ireland and the UK to give a demonstration of our systems
